NCAP’s Data Convening is designed to bring together data experts from across the Community Action field to deep dive the complex issues and opportunities Community Action Agencies face with collecting, analyzing, and using their data for decision-making. The Data Convening will foster connections between peer Community Action data professionals, data experts, and vendors. With approximately 100 attendees plus sponsors and presenters, this event will be small enough to foster great networking opportunities but large enough to bring together the best and brightest thought leaders. Although all Community Action staff are welcomed to attend, sessions are designed for those who are at an intermediate or advanced level of understanding and experience with data concepts.

The objectives of the Data Convening include:

• Provide an opportunity for data professionals in the network to go beyond the basics to deep dive pressing topics in the field;

• Connect Community Action Data professionals with one another to facilitate peer connection, learning, and network building;

• Resource Community Action Data professionals with tools they can use to grow their data capacity and the capacity of their agencies.
