Each October, communities across the country recognize Energy Action Month (EAM), a time to highlight energy efficiency and programs that help households reduce energy costs. As part of this month of recognition, communities also mark October 30 as National Weatherization Day. In 2026, we are proud to celebrate 50 years of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) and its impact on households, communities, jobs, small businesses, and energy savings nationwide. 

Join NASCSP, NCAP, and other Weatherization partners for a collaborative discussion on recognizing the 50th Anniversary of the Weatherization Assistance Program and planning for Weatherization Day. This webinar will provide an opportunity to share ideas, coordinate outreach efforts, and highlight the impact weatherization has had on households and communities over the past five decades.
