Energy teams from both organizations coordinated the collection of data from WAP State Grantees, WAP subgrantees, and State Associations to detail the scope of leveraged dollars in the network. Hear state-by-state numbers and learn about how these national partners can assist your state network in beginning or growing leveraged partnerships with the WAP.

Putting a System Together: Examining Core Homeless Service Interventions

On May 9, the National Alliance to End Homelessness will examine these core interventions in the kick-off of a webinar series on ending homelessness. Subsequent webinars will examine how to knit together effective and comprehensive responses to homelessness in rural communities and the critical role of Community Action Agencies.

Research has consistently pointed to the fact that persons of color face a steep historic and social disadvantage in their ability to access reputable financial products and services. As a result, Community Action agencies have a responsibility to ensure that their financial empowerment strategy is inclusive and works to specifically address the unique challenges that face these communities. Join us on May 30 to participate in a conversation on the critical importance of incorporating a racial equity lens in financial empowerment program design. Calling on the work of their Racial Wealth Divide Initiative, experts from Prosperity NOW will provide participants in this event with a deep dive into the research and practice of incorporating racial equity into financial capability programs and services.
