The Interstate Renewable Energy Council’s free Green Buildings Career Map is an interactive web-based tool that illustrates how today’s green jobs boom can create long-term career growth for workers entering this exciting field. The Map shows 55 different jobs in the green buildings and energy efficiency industry. The section on Residential & Multifamily Construction & Retrofitting includes Weatherization-related positions such as energy auditors, quality control inspectors, technicians and installers. Colorful graphics and photographs show users how an entry-level installer with a high school education can progress over time to become a commercial building maintenance worker or building performance diagnostician. Presenters will demonstrate how to navigate the Career Map and put it to use in your recruitment & retention efforts.
