Missouri’s Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation’s Healthy Homes initiative combines multiple revenue streams to deliver comprehensive assessments and interventions to low and moderate-income homeowners and renters. Issues addressed include lead-based paint, radon gas, asbestos and mold, while repairs can include windows, doors, gutters and roofs. Healthy Homes Coordinator, David Leas, will describe how JFCAC works with Weatherization and other housing programs within the agency to maximize the impact of multiple programs.
