The Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program Weatherization Supplemental Staffing Initiative provides utility funds to support recruitment and training for new Weatherization staff. Implemented by Waker-Miller Energy Services, in partnership with the Illinois Association of Community Action Agencies (IACAA) and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), the three-phase pilot provided additional assessment and inspection capacity, dedicated program staff, and development of a permanent staffing pipeline. Panelists (LIST) will discuss the conception and launch of this innovative program, from the initial network survey and discovery sessions to lessons learned and potential next steps.
