Head Start Governance
Head Start Program Governance is one of the 10 management systems within Head Start programs. Each of the 10 systems plays a critical role in supporting quality Head Start services that lead to positive outcomes for children and families Organizations that build a strong governance system, define governance processes, and work to establish positive relationships among all three of the Head Start governing entities are better equipped to respond to problems in their program and deliver high-quality Head Start services to their children and families. A strong governance system fosters an environment that supports innovation and continuous program improvement.
