ABOUT

The Management and Leadership Training Conference (MLTC) is targeted to board and staff leaders at Community Action Agencies. The 2020 MLTC will feature intensive training, structured roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities. Whether you’ve been leading and managing for years, or you’re looking forward to that promotion into management, you’ll become your best with our Management and Leadership Training Conference.

PATHWAYS TO EXCELLENCE IMPLEMENTER (PEI) TRAINING

The Partnership is offering its second annual Pathways to Excellence Implementer (PEI) training program at the 2020 Management and Leadership Training Conference (MLTC)! The PEI program is an opportunity to participate in a program designed to let you apply the Standards of Excellence to your agency by conducting a focused version of the Pathway’s Self-Study process. The training has now been modified to a one-day, in-person training with a virtual eCourse component prior to. The PEI in-person training will take place on January 7th in San JuanPuerto Rico, as part of the pre-conference activities for MLTC. 

The cost for the training is $350, which includes the eCourse, materials, and additional webinars to support you through the process, as well as a Peer Review of your self-study.  Sign-up through the MLTC online registration, available hereDeadline for PEI registration is December 6, 2019. In addition, please email your Agency Approval Form to Courtney Kohler. There are 15 slots available for the training that will be offered on a first come, first served basis – so act fast!

Every member and event participant is expected to act in a professional, responsible and respectful manner while engaged in Partnership events and activities. Unprofessional behavior, including disparaging comments and unwelcome conduct related to sex, race, color, gender, age, disability, orientation or religion, will not be tolerated.

If any member or event participant engages in unprofessional behavior, Partnership leadership may take any action it deems appropriate, ranging from a simple warning to the offender to expulsion from current and future activities.

The Partnership’s intent is to foster the respectful behavior embodied in the Code of Conduct. Partnership staff will be happy to help event participants with Code of Conduct concerns.
