DESCRIPTION:Join Community Action National Partners for a discussion of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS’) recent notice\, which rescinds long-standing guidance interpreting the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA). The prior guidance had established an interpretation of PRWORA that addressed when and which immigrants could receive services and benefits funded with federal HHS grant dollars. \nDuring this webinar\, we will provide a brief overview of the policy changes\, break down the legal framework behind the new notice\, and discuss the possible\, practical implications for the Community Action Network.
