SUMMARY:Community Action Conversations: Water Accessibility & Affordability
DESCRIPTION:In June\, the National Consumer Law Center (NCLC) partnered with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) to release a comprehensive new Water Affordability Advocacy Toolkit\, designed to help local groups advocate to legislators\, policymakers\, and utilities for more affordable drinking water and/or wastewater systems. The National Coalition for Legislation and Education on Affordable Water recently released a new documentary film — Whose Water? The People’s Movement for Safe\, Affordable Water and Sanitation in the United States — that tells the stories of community members organizing for access to safe and affordable water and sanitation.
