SUMMARY:Community Action Conversation: LIHEAP & Community Solar Case Study
DESCRIPTION:The Illinois Solar For All program offers low-income community solar subscriptions with guaranteed bill savings and robust consumer protections. A pilot partnership between one state-approved vendor and three community action agencies is delivering bill savings to LIHEAP clients and paying the CAA’s for their time. The agencies are pleased with the outcomes so far\, and the vendor hopes to expand the model to other states.
