DESCRIPTION:Shama Mounzer serves as the Integration Executive Director at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency\, and oversees the Agency’s multi-faceted Utility Assistance Program\, which serves communities within Wayne County\, Michigan. Three years ago\, the Agency implemented the initial phase of its roof repair program with an interest list of clients\, and limited funding. In an effort to help residents improve their housing conditions\, a partnership was formed with the State of Michigan and the City of Detroit to include wraparound services. In this webinar Shama describes how they integrate utility bill payment assistance and multiple home repair funds to reduce deferrals and maximize the Weatherization Assistance Program. \nClick here to register.
