SUMMARY:Healing is the Revolution: Why Trauma Work is Equity Work
DESCRIPTION:Join us on July 17 to engage in a discussion on the importance of trauma-informed care specific to and for communities of color from experienced trauma-informed health practitioner\, Dr. Dense Shervington. Based on research from her new book\, Healing is the Revolution\, Dr. Shervington will detail the nameable and unnamable struggles that people of color face in a tense\, high stress\, and despairing existence that is modern-day America.
