SUMMARY:NCAP 2025-2026 Policy Priorities Listening Session I
DESCRIPTION:As NCAP begins its fourth cycle of identifying Community Action policy priorities\, the organization is continuing its deep commitment to the maximum participation of the groups most effected by which policies are highlighted – namely\, Community Action organizations and their customers. To that end\, NCAP is providing robust Network-wide feedback opportunities to ensure the resulting priorities accurately represent the Community Action perspective. \nThis public listening session will give attendees the opportunity to review current priorities and provide feedback\, including recommendations to add new policies\, update existing priorities\, and remove outdated items. NCAP staff will frame each discussion with a focus on equity considerations and how each issue affects populations and communities experiencing low incomes. \nClick here to register.

SUMMARY:Virtual Racial Healing Circle in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day
DESCRIPTION:In observance of Indigenous People’s Day\, join us as we take participants into a Racial Healing Circle Experience. This introductory circle will bring participants into the heart space by inviting us to tell our own stories\, to listen deeply to the stories of others by finding common ground\, and to embrace our common humanity when we see ourselves in the perceived other. When this occurs\, we build the trust that is necessary for courageous dialogue and the transformation of hearts and minds that shows up in what we say and do. This building model alternates between group conversation and one-on-one dyads\, aiming to offer a deeper practice than usual. Racial Healing Circles satisfy the unrecognized need of communal healing and shared liberation. \nClick here to register.
