SUMMARY:Small States CSBG CARES Spending Conversation with the National Partners
DESCRIPTION:CARES Act Supplemental CSBG funds have been critical to supporting family and community needs throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. In most communities\, these funds had to be spent by September 30\, 2022 – but for Small States\, a portion of their allocation remains available to spend through September 30\, 2023. With the lingering impacts of the pandemic still very present\, it is critical that Small States in the Community Action Network leverage this unique opportunity to use any remaining CARES Act Supplemental funds as effectively as possible. Join Community Action’s National Partners and representatives from the federal Office of Community Services (OCS) to learn about a variety of effective strategies that CAAs have used and can continue to implement to protect vulnerable families. \nNOTE: This webinar is specifically for eligible entities\, state associations\, and state offices in minimally funded states\, which include: Alaska\, Delaware\, Hawaii\, Idaho\, Montana\, Nevada\, New Hampshire\, North Dakota\, South Dakota\, Utah\, Vermont\, and Wyoming. CARES funds expired for all other states September 30\, 2022.   \nClick here to register for the webinar. \nIn addition to registering for the meeting through Zoom\, please take this brief survey to help inform the conversation: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NCAPSmallStates
