SUMMARY:ED/CEO Roundtables: Responding to the Shifting Landscape
DESCRIPTION:Join NCAP for a series of Roundtables designed to provide current Community Action Executive Directors (EDs) and CEOs space to discuss solutions for emerging issues\, receive updates on relevant tools and resources\, and learn about effective strategies from peers. Beyond fostering peer-to-peer dialogue\, these roundtables provide an opportunity for NCAP and national stakeholders to actively listen to the pressing needs and challenges faced by Community Action leaders\, thereby better understanding and further responding to the shifting landscape. \nRoundtables are organized by areas of focus\, with broad guidelines for both discussions and audiences. EDs and CEOs are welcome to join any or all Roundtable sessions. \nEach session will be approximately 60 minutes. The following sessions are available: \nRoundtable 1: Small CAA Focus \nThis Roundtable will discuss strategies for addressing the unique challenges that smaller Community Action Agencies face\, such as limited staff capacity and financial constraints. \n\nDate: Thursday\, June 5th\nTime: 12:00pm ET | 11:00am CT | 10:00am MT | 9:00am PT\n\nRoundtable 2: All CAAs Focus \nThis Roundtable will be an open conversation with topics for discussion chosen by participants\, allowing for real-time engagement with the most pressing and relevant issues for all Community Action Agencies. \n\nDate: Friday\, June 6th\nTime: 11:00am ET | 10:00am CT | 9:00am MT | 8:00am PT\n\nRoundtable 3: Scenario Planning \nThis Roundtable will delve into the critical importance of developing plans that account for multiple potential future realities. \n\nDate: Friday\, June 6th\nTime: 1:00pm ET | 12:00pm CT | 11:00am MT | 10:00am PT\n\n Roundtable 4: Working with your Board in this Moment \nThis Roundtable will explore the board’s vital role in financial oversight\, advocacy\, planning\, and setting organizational priorities in this moment. \n\nDate: Tuesday\, June 10th\nTime: 1:00pm ET | 12:00pm CT | 11:00am MT | 10:00am PT\n\nRoundtable 5: Rural CAA Focus \nThis Roundtable will consider the distinct geographical and resource challenges faced by rural Community Action Agencies\, and how to build on the strengths of rural communities in this current environment. \n\nDate: Tuesday\, June 10th\nTime: 4:00pm ET | 3:00pm CT | 2:00pm MT | 1:00pm PT\n\nPlease Note: The Roundtables are exclusively for EDs and CEOs\, and pre-registration is required.
